We had a great conversation around carers mental health as part of Carers Week. The theme of the week was making sure caring was ‘visible and valued.’

The NHS in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland is asking local residents to share their views and experiences of services provided at local GP practices and health centres by taking part in an online survey.

The plans to reconfigure Leicester’s acute hospitals and maternity services were approved by the Governing Bodies of Leicester’s Clinical Commissioning Groups, at an extraordinary meeting on 8 June 2021.

We are aware that people are finding it difficult to access NHS dental treatment and we are discussing the issues with NHS England. The NHS England Midlands Dental Commissioning Team have sent us the following new update.

Healthwatch England warns dental care crisis shows no signs of slowing, with four in five people (80%) struggling to access timely care between January and March 2021.

The NHS is urging the public to have their say on plans to improve the way adult mental health care is delivered across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR).

England will take Step 3 on the four-step ‘roadmap’ out of lockdown, with further freedoms legally allowed.

Working together with Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire, Healthwatch Rutland will be running a series of themed community focus groups to identify the impact of changes introduced across health and social care, in response to the pandemic.
