Healthwatch Rutland in conjunction with our contract holder Connected Together CIC and our sister Healthwatch in Northamptonshire have achieved the Cyber Essentials certification this month.

We had a really informative time at our recent Annual Meeting on November 3rd 2022.

A new local NHS campaign has been launched this month to help people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to get the right care as quickly as possible.

The autumn COVID booster is now available to everyone aged 50+, as well as anyone aged 5+ who is at high risk due to a health condition or weakened immune system, or if they live with someone who has a weakened immune system.

A new service enabling patients to receive treatment at home instead of in hospital, is being extended to support patients with a wider range of health conditions in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

The Healthwatch Rutland's contract provided by Connected Together CIC has been renewed for a further year to March 2024.

Following the postponement of the Healthwatch Rutland Annual Meeting in September out of respect following the death of The Queen, the meeting will now be held on Thursday 3rd November 2pm – 3.45 pm

Our rescheduled Board Meeting in Public (postponed from 13 September 2022) will be held online by Zoom on 26 October 7pm to 8pm
