Rutland Family Hub Consultation

Family hubs are a way of joining up services locally by bringing existing family help services together to improve access, both physically and online.

Work is underway to create a family hub offer in Rutland to meet the needs of all children and young people 0 – 19 and their families. Where a child or young person has special educational needs or a disability, support from the family hub will continue to age 25. The service will deliver health and family support services through an outreach programme bringing the support and services to community spaces close to where you live.

The first family hub centre for Rutland is based at the Children’s Centre in Oakham and there are plans to open three more permanent hub sites by mid-2024. Libraries and schools will also be used, as well as virtual/online access to support.

Rutland County Council is calling all families to give their views to help shape the new family hub service. By completing the consultation survey, you can enter a free prize draw to win 4 tickets to a theme park or a supermarket voucher for the equivalent value.
