We were thrilled to receive some good news at the very start of 2021! Jacqui Darlington, our Vice Chair was awarded a British Empire Medal in the New Year’s Honours list, for services to the community in Rutland.

Rutland’s COVID-19 vaccination programme commenced in December 2020 and is focused currently on priority group 1 of over 80’s, care home residents and workers, and some NHS frontline staff.

The Government has announced that Rutland will be placed in Tier 2 of the three tier COVID-19 alert system, starting on Wednesday 2 December.

Following temporary closure during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic, eight urgent care centres and healthcare hubs have now reopened.
