Carers Week Logo

We are approaching Carers Week and would like to share with you the program for carers across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Carers Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges unpaid carers face and recognise the contribution they make. It also aims to help people who don't think of themselves as having caring responsibilities, to identify as carers and access support.

Carers Week Events:

There is a range of events across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland facilitated by the Carers Centre (for any carers who are unable to attend face-to-face events, there will also be a Zoom event) including:

  • Garden and Arboretum visits
  • Celebration events including crafts, music, poetry etc
