Read the meeting report from our public meeting to discuss reconfiguration plans for Leicester hospitals and maternity services

Our virtual public meeting to discuss the plans for reconfiguration of Leicester hospital and maternity services, held on 28 October, was well attended.

After giving an overview of the proposals, Dr Janet Underwood, Healthwatch Rutland Chair, opened the floor for discussion.

The wide-ranging discussion was transcribed and all the comments have been organised thematically in the meeting report which you can download below.

The consultation continues until 21 December and we think it's really important that Rutland residents get involved. Details of the proposals can be found here and the NHS is offering a series of events and workshops for you to join the debate.
