    Following recent concerns in the media and on social media we have been in communication with East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group, the commissioner for local minor injuries services and urgent care services.

    We fully supports local Councillors’ recommendation that University Hospitals of Leicester Trust and local Clinical Commissioning Groups pause their plans to reconfigure Intensive Care Units (ICU) and offer full public consultation on the plans.
