Key updates

• We are pleased to welcome Healthwatch Officer Esther Stimpson on secondment from Healthwatch Northamptonshire for 2 days a week
• Patients in East Leicestershire and Rutland are being asked for their views on proposed changes to out-of-hours healthcare services
• NHS England (NHSE) announced that the threat to decommission heart services at the East Midlands Congenital Heart Centre (EMCHC) had been lifted, meaning that the centre is continuing to provide lifesaving surgery for children and adults in the region.
