The first drop-in meeting of the Oakham and Uppingham Macular Society Support Group will be held on Thursday 31 October, 1.30-3.30pm at Oakham Methodist Church, Northgate, Oakham.
The Macular Society supports local self-help groups all over the country. They meet regularly to share experiences, pass on hints and tips and invite quest speakers to talk on a variety of subjects concerned with macular disease and its impact on our daily lives. The meetings are also social occasions where people can chat over a cup of coffee. Meetings are open to anyone affected by central vision loss and carers, friends and family are also warmly welcomed.
