This survey was planned as a joint collaboration between Healthwatch Rutland and East Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group (ELRCCG). Both organisations were keen to know what Rutland people feel about primary care services.

During visits to Rutland Care Homes we became aware of issues with access to dental services. We were told that lack of dental care for residents impacted negatively on their health and wellbeing and was a cause for concern. -

During 2019-20 we continued to assert ourselves as an independent champion to put Rutland people at the heart of decisions as the health and care environment moves towards an integrated care system and single strategic commissioning body. -
