Help to shape a new Shared Vision for the future of Rutland

Have you taken part in the Future Rutland Conversation? It started in April of this year when people all across the County were asked what they value most about life
in Rutland, and what they want from the future.

After hearing from more than 2,000 people who shared their views on a wide range of important topics, from the environment and transport to quality of life and healthcare, a Draft Future Rutland Vision has been published, describing the kind of place people say they want to live.

Between now and 28 November, people with a connection to Rutland are being asked to read the Draft Future Rutland Vision and share what they think, even if they’ve not taken part in the Future Rutland Conversation previously.

The aim is to produce a final Vision that contains a clear set of long-term goals for Rutland’s future – goals that have been shaped by local people and which help organisations and communities to make the right changes in the right areas of life.

The Future Rutland Conversation has been organised and supported by Rutland County Council, who hope to have a final Vision ready by the end of this year.
